The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me! This is the beginning of a new chapter in the story of Choice Classics. This first post will focus primarily on the history and vision of my company and give a glimpse of my vision for the future.

Choice Classics is an automotive company established May, 2015 with the intentions of providing impeccable service to any and all who wish to buy and sell classic vehicles. The first vehicle sold was a 1982 Corvette Stingray Collector’s Edition. This car was quite a sight (pretty rough around the edges), though I could not have asked for a better car to start this journey with. The next attempts were a 71′ Chevy Nova, 72′ Corvette Stingray, 63′ Impala SS 409, 53′ Buick Special and a 71′ Dodge Challenger 340 E-Body. I say “attempts” because unfortunately for one reason or another, I was unable to sell these vehicles. Now, in the moment it was extremely hard to see all of these sales fall through one after another. Luckily, you cannot grow and become better at anything in life unless you experience a little bit of failure.

Looking back on these lost opportunities, I realized that there was only good to be gained during each situation. I learned from each failure and was able to improve little by little. Finding better ways to market my product, better photography for advertisement, more firm negotiation skills and increased knowledge on communication with my target audience which all became a little more clear with each failed sale. And to top it all off, I got to see some incredible classic vehicles! And thus, my motivation to continue this company in a new light grew stronger. My longing to see and experience the history in not only these amazing vehicles, but in their owners has continued to grow which has led to the creation of this blog.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you and bring about opportunities for a growth in community with the love of classic vehicles. I will be sharing not only my own personal business situations and lessons, but also discuss vehicles and their owners that I get to meet at car shows or sales leads and out on the open road! I will also cover anything that you all would like to discuss. Whether it be product reviews, DIY topics or full project stories, if it involves a classic vehicle I intend to write about it! Again, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my first post. If you enjoyed what I had to say please like and subscribe to my blog so that you too can follow along on this crazy life journey with me. Until next time, stay classic.
